Josh + Carina

On May 4th, 2012, Josh and Carina were married at St. George's in New York City. Haley and I had the pleasure of shooting them before the ceremony at their apartments in midtown and meeting their delightful cat, Padme.

From getting ready, to the ceremony, to the shoot in the park after the wedding, Josh and Carina were relaxed and just happy that they were together and getting married. They were just what a bride and groom should be on their wedding day, and we know that they have a full life ahead of them. We wish them luck as they move to New Haven and started their lives together at Yale.

Rugby // First Look at Spring

I got the opportunity at the end of March to cover this Rugby event at the University Place location. Rugby is coming out with a great line this spring and it was a delight to be able to get a First Look at what they were doing.

Rugby auctioned off black-and-white crew photos from Daniel D'Ottavio, and served beer from Brooklyn Brewery and saltwater taffy from Salty Road.

The song was written by Clayton and Zach Chambers and performed by The Chambers Brothers and Haley Manning. For more music by The Chambers Brothers, check them out on YouTube.

Run Away // The Chambers Brothers

This weekend Clayton and Zach Chambers let me take them up to my friend Alexander's rooftop. We shot a song that Clayton wrote, Run Away, on a cloudy Sunday afternoon in New York. I look forward to seeing what these two do with their music. It was a fun time shooting with them, especially with the help of the ever lovely Haley Manning.

Filmed with a Canon 60D and 7D, 50 mm 1.8, and 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 lens.

We got to record with a Zoom H4n, such a great little piece of equipment. I can't wait to do more with it. If you pay attention, you will hear some helicopters and planes going out from LaGuardia, but the H4n did such a good job of picking up Clayton and Zach even with all that air traffic.

Scarves // AL Miller

My good friend Annie Laurie started making these knit scarves this winter. She uses yarn from Lion Brand and we all love the look and feel of these warm, soft scarves.
We headed upstate to Tuxedo, NY to spend the weekend in the King's Cabin and do lots of pomodoros.
